It’s quicker off the mark than a Renault Zoe but not quite as zippy as the Mini Electric and it has a better range than the Fiat 500 or Honda E, though the Zoe has better range. The repeated braking and low speeds you experience when driving around a city are ideal for extending the range of a compact electric car like the e-208. It’s small and nippy up to 30mph, and there is no pollution to worry those around the vehicle when passing schools or sitting at lights.

Its soft ride, with a tendency to nosedive and the driver position, is described as “unconventional” (WhatCar) but otherwise, if you’re looking for an electric car with decent performance for its size then the e-208 is well worth checking out. Range can be impacted a little more than, say, a Zoe in winter months, though 2022 models combat this with better electronics.
