Volkswagen’s largest SUV, the Touareg combines vast space with luxury to match its rivals.
The Touareg comes in three trim levels; SEL, R-Line and R-Line Tech. The entry-level model has leather upholstery and heated front seats as standard. The SEL, in addition to the above features, offers 19-inch alloys, touchscreen system, parking sensors and cruise control.
The R-Line offers unique front and rear bumpers, and side skirts for a sportier look. This trim also adds 20-inch alloys, parking assist with rearview camera and an electric tailgate.
The range-topping R-Line Tech builds on the R-Line with even more extras. This includes a 15-inch touchscreen, an ‘Innovision’ cockpit and a memory package that allows you to log all of your preferred settings.
There is a range of petrol and diesel engines with the Touareg. The sole petrol engine on offer, a 3.0L provides plenty of speed and responsiveness. However, for a car of this size, the various 3.0L diesel engines offer excellent performance and fuel economy.
