Following a redesign in 2017, the Countryman brings Mini’s classic looks to the competitive crossover and SUV markets.

The base-spec Countryman offers customisations and fun driving. Sat-nav, alloy wheels, a touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay come as standard.

There are seven spec levels across the petrol and diesel range: the entry-level Cooper, Cooper All4, Cooper S, S All4, Cooper D, and Cooper D All4. Each level comes with air conditioning, Bluetooth, DAB radio, and rear parking sensors.

The All4 offers all-wheel drive capability on top of the Cooper’s features. The ‘S’ models provide special ‘S’ branding, 17-inch alloys, and performance control. The Countryman also has three levels of styling: Classic, Sport, and Exclusive.

The Countryman comes with a plug-in hybrid option. It offers 26 miles of electric-only range, a chargeable battery while driving, and Mini driving modes.

There is a range of diesel and petrol engines available. The base petrol engine, a 1.5L, is comfortable around town and on the motorway. The 2.0L petrol adds extra performance for ‘S’ models. The diesel engines offer strong mileage and high performance.
