The BMW iX3 is the fully electric version of BMW’s biggest-selling car, the X3. It doesn’t change anything from the successful model that didn’t need changing, making it triumphant

It can run 285 miles on one charge despite the small battery size when compared to others on the market, at 80kWh gross and 74kWh usable which makes charging up time attractive. The BMW iX3 is a relatively new model, especially in the UK, that is rare to find on the used car market at the moment, but not impossible. However, as such an impressive model, we are expecting it to be popular and more to find their way onto the used market soon. The standard of the iX3 range still comes with a range of features that make it stand out as a luxury SUV, such as an automatic tailgate, panoramic glass sunroof, adaptive LED headlights, excellent acoustics and black alloy wheels.

One step up is the Premier Edition Pro which comes with all of the same features plus lumbar support, automatic high beam assist, parking assistant plus, and a head-up display.

BMW iX3 M Sport

The 2022 facelift version of the iX3 is called the M Sport and has an improved body and slimmer headlights. It uses the same battery and engine but boasts smoother driving.

Brief History of the BMW ix3

The BMW X3 has been in production since 2003 and the iX3 is the all-electric variant. It is BMW’s rival to other electric SUVs such as the Audi e-tron, Mercedes EQC and Skoda Enyaq. It has been in production since 2020 but has only been on sale in the UK since late 2021, and in 2022 has released facelift versions.

Not only is it quieter and more refined than its petrol X3 stablemate, it’s also cheaper than the £100k+ iX.
