After its initial announcement in March 2018, the I-Pace started shipping across Europe and North America. A battery is like a pressurised bottle: the fuller it gets, the harder it gets to fill. After about 80%, charging speeds slow down. And with a range as long as the I-Pace’s, 80% will take you nearly 200 miles – plenty for a few hours of driving.
