TikTok is continuing to grow. Not only was it the most downloaded app of 2021, but it’s also one of the leading sources of user-generated content in the world. So, we’ve decided it’s time to make our mark in this unique space, and hire the world’s first ‘TikTok Motoring Gadget Tester’!
Put simply, the tester’s job will be to scour TikTok for the most current driving products. The successful candidate will be expected to identify, buy and test trending car accessories featured on the platform, and write detailed reviews on the products they find – from storage ‘hacks’ and lighting gadgets to dashboard fans and everything in between!
Salary:
£100 a day (plus £500 per week of spending money to fulfil duties)
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be hired to trawl through TikTok videos and identify the latest viral car accessories featured on the app. They will be expected to test and write reviews for each item, which will form part of an ‘honest reviews’ guide of the best and worst driving products on the ChooseMyCar website.
As part of the review process, the chosen tester will be required to write at least 800 words about each product. Once completed, the successful candidate will also be required to create a short video for both Tik Tok and Instagram, summarising their thoughts into bitesize clips to use across the ChooseMyCar social channels.
Applicant requirements:
- Must live in the UK
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Must have access to a working car
- Must have access to a smartphone or computer
Desired skills:
- Good writing skills
- Strong interest in cars
- Experience creating video content for social media
Contract:
The successful applicant will be employed on an initial three month trial contract, with a chance to extend for a further three months if both parties are satisfied.
Schedule:
The successful applicant will be required to work between 10-15 days per month, completing a minimum of 15 reviews within a four week period.
