The award-winning Octavia is Skoda’s biggest seller – and it’s no surprise. Comfortable, safe, and spacious with an impressive standard spec, the Octavia is a competent family car on all counts.

Available as a hatchback and an estate, the Octavia has lots to offer – including 16-inch alloys, LED daytime running lights, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity as standard.

The hatch comes in nine trim levels: S, SE, SE Drive, SE Technology, SE L, Sportline, L&K, VRS, and VRS Challenge, while the estate offers an additional Scout trim.

Each spec level adds to the list of luxuries on offer, including rear parking sensors and dual-zone climate control on the SE, 17-inch alloys and an 8-inch touchscreen on the SE L and a larger touchscreen and heated front seats on the L&K model.

The Scout is more ruggedly designed for off-road driving while the VRS and VRS Challenge are super sporty.

There’s a healthy range of petrol and diesel engines available, starting with the petrol 1.0L TI S, which is ideal for town driving. For more power and a smooth drive, the 1.5L options available with the SE are a safe bet.
