Learn more about the Volkswagen Beetle
Recently ending production, the Beetle was redesigned from its second ‘New’ Beetle generation. It offered a retro alternative to the Mini and Fiat 500.
There are three trim levels on the Beetle; Standard, Design, and R-Line. The entry-level trim offered 16-inch steel rims, a 6.5-inch touchscreen system with smartphone connectivity, and DAB radio.
The mid-range Design trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights and a rear spoiler. The range-topping R-Line brought a sportier feel. It added unique sports styling, 18-inch alloys, and parking sensors.
There is also a Cabriolet version of the Beetle. It offered the same trim levels as the hatchback, however, the R-Line trim is not available. The Dune trim, which added more rugged styling is another great option.
Petrol and diesel-powered engines were available on the Beetle. 1.2L petrol engines are standard on the Bug and also include 1.4L and 2.0L, providing a range of performance. 2.0L diesels are available on the Design trim and R-Line.
