If you’re looking for an SUV that combines equipment and sportier performance, the GLA could be the car for you.
Based on Mercedes’ hugely popular A-Class, the GLA is well equipped for its size. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
The GLA comes in five spec levels – the entry-level Urban Edition, SE, Sport, AMG Line and AMG 45 4Matic. Each adds to the features onboard, building on the reversing camera, air conditioning and off-road comfort suspension.
The SE offers exterior style updates in chrome and leather upholstery. The Sport model comes with an 8-inch media display and attention assist. The AMG Line offers an AMG styling pack and sports seats.
The AMG 45 4Matic offers pure performance from Mercedes’ AMG division. With a full body kit, 19-inch alloys and sports exhausts, this is a true sports model.
There is a wide range of petrol and diesel engines available. The 1.6L petrol is the base powertrain and offers good performance, but the 2.0L requires less revving. The two diesel engines provide steady cruising abilities and fuel saving.
