Learn more about the Mercedes Benz Eqc

The Mercedes-Benz EQC is the first dedicated all-electric model from Mercedes. It’s packed with tech, wonderfully built and effortlessly luxurious. Which is to say: it’s a Merc,… but electric.

The EQC is based on the petrol GLC with nips, tucks and improvements across the board. With a new interior, smarter exterior and a huge drop in fuel bills, the EQC is a tremendous Crossover SUV that just happens to be electric.

Powered by two electric motors, the EQC has 402 horsepower ready when you floor your right foot. The battery has an impressive range of up to 260 miles on a charge, more than enough for most commutes. And, even though the EQC is a converted petrol car, the motors and batteries beneath give it much better efficiency than you might expect.

The interior of the vehicle is designed for comfort and style, with plush leather seats, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof that lets your passengers enjoy the sky as you whisk them along in silence.

Talking of whisking along, the EQC is a comfy place to be but not particularly sporty, and this is where the GLC underpinnings start to make themselves known. It’s a bit heavier than many EVs in its class and that does mean that handling takes a hit but if you’re running up the M1 there are fewer more comfortable places to be.

It’s a Crossover SUV so there’s a good chunk of space for storing your odds and ends, whether you’re driving your kids to school or spinning up the mountain to Camonix. And, with Merc’s typical depreciation, it’s a proper bargain on the used market.
