With the UK car market flooded with SUVs and crossovers, the Ignis bridges the gap between a city car and an off-roader. So, if you’re looking for a small, nippy car to match an adventurous lifestyle, this could be it.
Three trims are offered on the Ignis, SZ3, SZ-T, and SZ5. The entry-level SZ3 includes 15-inch steel wheels, DAB radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, and a CD player.
The SZ-T is the mid-range trim and adds extra equipment. 16-inch alloy wheels, smartphone integration, a rear parking camera, and smartphone mirroring are all standard features with this trim.
The top-of-the-range SZ5 provides even more luxury options – extended wheel arches for a more rugged look, black and chrome front grille, sat-nav and keyless entry and start.
The Ignis is available with a petrol engine or a hybrid option. The 1.2L petrol offers solid fuel economy and dynamic response for fun all-around driving. The 1.2L hybrid is only available on the SZ5 and provides better performance.
