The Jimny has been around for years as the cute 4×4, but the newest version has brought back the more traditional off-road styling with a modern interior. While many soft-roaders can be seen as a small car on stilts, the Jimny is a genuine SUV.
There are only two trims with the Jimny to keep the focus squarely on its driving ability. The base-level SZ4 offers 15-inch steel wheels, MP3 compatibility, a CD player, DAB radio, and hill start assistance as standard.
The SZ5 provides more comforts for the off-roader. 15-inch alloys, a Bluetooth integrated audio system, seven-inch touchscreen, smartphone mirroring and sat-nav are all standard features.
The Jimny is a petrol-only car with no diesel engines available. The 1.5L engine provides enough performance on tarmac around town. But when you get on the dirt, the Jimny is in a class of its own, thanks to the engine’s capabilities.
