A car with distinctive styling, the Vauxhall Adam offers is an eye-catching option that stands out in a crowded small car market.
The Adam, named after the Opel founder, offers huge opportunity for customisation, placing much of its appeal on looks; the standard Jam model comes with 16-inch alloys, air conditioning, electrically adjustable mirrors, daytime running lights, and cruise control as standard.
The Adam is available in two other trims: Energised, and Griffin. The Energised adds 17-inch rims, a touchscreen infotainment system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Griffin adds special floor mats and badges to the Energised trim.
The discontinued Rocks edition was a crossover-styled version of the Adam. It added chunkier bumpers and wheel arches, increased ride height, and a canvas folding roof.
There is one engine across the range, a petrol-powered 1.2L. It provides good power for driving around town and shorter trips. With adequate performance on the motorway, it compares favourably with rival models.
