Lexus hopes to take charge of the growing large SUV market with its premium RX. As with all Lexus models, high quality build and incredible equipment is the norm.
Three trims are offered with the RX: Standard, F-Sport, and Takumi. The entry-level trim comes with leather upholstery, an eight inch touchscreen with sat-nav, DAB radio, and a reversing camera. 18-inch alloy wheels are also fitted.
The mid-range F-Sport trim creates an aggressive, sportier look – that’s thanks to 20-inch alloys, uniquely branded sports seats, and exterior styling cues. Performance-enhancing changes have also been made to the suspension and steering.
The Takumi tops the RX range with premium inclusions. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 15-speaker Mark Levinson stereo all feature. There is also a seven-seat version of the RX available, called the RX-L.
The RX, like most Lexus models, is hybrid-only. The 3.5L petrol-hybrid engine is only offered with automatic transmission and provides a refined driving feel with excellent fuel economy.
