Bold and distinctive in looks. Quality touches throughout. The Lexus IS has brought plenty of ammunition in the fight for executive saloon dominance – the IS is hellbent on outcompeting its rivals from BMW, Mercedes, and Audi.
The IS is available in three trims, Standard, F-Sport, and Takumi. The base-level IS provides 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, automatic LED headlights, a six-speaker stereo, and a seven-inch touchscreen system as standard.
In the middle of the range lies the F-Sport with a sportier look. It boasts 18-inch alloys, lower sports suspension, and heated sports seats – with the driver’s display inspired by the LFA sports car.
The range-topping Takumi offers luxury equipment. A sunroof, heated and ventilated leather front seats, a 10.3-inch touchscreen system with sat-nav, and a 15-speaker Mark Levinson stereo are all included.
The IS has hybrid-only power across the range. A 2.5L petrol-hybrid provides reliable performance with excellent fuel economy. Each trim comes with an automatic gearbox only.
