Mitsubishi’s largest car on sale (it seats seven comfortably), the Shogun Sport has it all to beat its rivals.
The old version Shogun has been replaced by a much more stylish model with bold looks to stand out in the crowded large SUV market. With lots of equipment as standard, it’s a front-runner in the segment.
The Shogun Sport is available in two trims – 3 and 4. The 3 is well equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, and LED headlights. A seven-inch touchscreen features sat-nav, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth music streaming and smartphone mirroring.
Stepping up to the 4 trim adds enhanced safety features, such as collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and automatic city braking. A 360-degree camera and improved sound system are included on this spec.
The Shogun Sport is only available with a diesel engine. The 2.4L engine is comfortable on the road with strong fuel economy. However, it is off-road where the engine and Shogun shines, utilising the torque and gearbox to put it in its own class.
