Sharp styling, ample space, and plenty of equipment has pushed the Edge to the front of its class. Standard features include LED lighting, 19-inch alloys, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

There are three trim levels for the Edge – Titanium, ST-Line, and Vignale. DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are standard on the Titanium. You can also expect leather upholstery with heated rear seats.

The ST-Line adds sports performance handling to the mix. You can also expect a sportier body style that includes 20-inch alloys. Sports suspension, cruise control with speed limiting, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system are also included.

Luxury is on offer with the range-topping Vignale. It features exclusive paint colours, unique 20-inch alloy wheels, and white leather furnishing. In short, it’s Ford’s most opulent SUV.

All Edge trims come with a diesel engine only. The entry-level is a 2.0L EcoBlue that provides reliable performance and range. A more powerful 2.0L is available on the ST-Line and Vignale.
