The Mirage name has been around for decades, making the latest version the sixth generation. It replaces the Colt as Mitsubishi’s small car offering.
In a crowded city car market, the Mirage sets out to beat the offerings from Volkswagen, Toyota, Kia and Ford.
There are two trims available on the Mirage – 3 and 4. 14-inch alloy wheels, key-less entry, Bluetooth music streaming, air conditioning and a CD player all feature as standard.
The 4 trim offers additional comforts to the Mirage. 15-inch alloys, sat-nav, rear parking sensors and smartphone mirroring that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all included.
The Mirage is only available with a petrol-powered engine. The 1.2L provides excellent fuel economy for its size and reliable performance for city driving. An automatic gearbox is offered on the 4 trim while the 3 is manual transmission-only.
