Volkswagen ID BUZZ Practicality & Boot Space
The ID BUZZ excels in everyday usability, offering genuinely impressive space for people and cargo. The 1121-litre boot in five-seat mode is enormous, easily accommodating large shopping trips, holiday luggage, or bulky items like pushchairs and sports equipment. The low loading lip and wide opening make it easy to load heavy or awkward items. When you need to carry more people, the optional third row provides genuine seating for seven, though the rearmost seats are best suited for children or shorter adults.
We’ve had our ID BUZZ for six months and absolutely love it. The kids adore the spacious interior and the silent running makes school runs so peaceful. The only downside is planning longer trips around charging points, but for daily use it’s fantastic.
The ID BUZZ represents Volkswagen’s successful attempt to blend retro appeal with modern electric technology. It packages impressive family practicality, zero emissions driving, and distinctive styling into a genuinely desirable package. While the price tag reflects its premium positioning, the low running costs and strong equipment levels help justify the investment for many buyers.
