Billing itself as the sophisticated side to adventure driving, the Cherokee offers premium space and luxury with rugged fun. The biggest Jeep on sale, it competes with the likes of Audi and BMW in the premium market.
There two trim levels available on the Grand Cherokee, Overland and Summit. The standard equipment on the Overland includes a panoramic sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, leather interior and 8.4-inch touchscreen system.
The Summit trim offers additional luxuries. Chrome detailing and exclusive exterior features add a more imposing look. Inside, a Harman-Kardon stereo and suede lining are as standard.
In addition to the Overland and Summit trims is the Trackhawk specification. A tuned-up and track-focused version, the Trackhawk combines American muscle cars with off-roading. Exclusive styling and branding, as well as blacked-out alloys.
Only diesel engines are offered on the standard vehicle, in both trims. The 3.0L provides excellent economy and off-road ability. The Trackhawk is powered by a 6.2L supercharged V8 ‘Hemi’ that offers huge performance figures and speed, as expected.
