The 455-litre boot is competitive for the class, easily accommodating a week’s shopping or several large suitcases for business travel. The wide boot opening and low loading lip make accessing the cargo area straightforward. Rear seats fold in a 60:40 split configuration, extending cargo capacity for longer items when needed.
The XE has been a revelation to drive. It’s so much more engaging than my previous BMW and the interior quality exceeded my expectations. The only downside is rear seat space, but for me that’s a worthwhile trade-off for the driving experience.
